We Grow:
It is important we grow in our relationship with God and each other.
At Encounters, we take a holistic approach to growth by offering a
variety of Bible studies, recovery groups, step studies, and life skills classes.

Aldersgate Trinity Campus (3600 Memorial):
Our holistic approach to ministry here at Encounters (an Outreach of the United
Methodist Temple) causes us to look towards growth in every area of our lives.
This means that throughout the year, we offer a wide variety of other classes
and learning opportunities. Take a look at what is being offered in the year to
come:
Midweek Encounters
This group takes a look at the 12 steps from the perspective of the Bible
(Thursdays with dinner at 6 pm and study at 6:30 pm).
No Fear - Computer Classes
Through our partnership with Mustard Seed Ministries of Tyler, we are able to
offer free beginning and intermediate computer training classes. Our beginning
classes offer an opportunity to learn basic computer operation, Microsoft Word,
internet usage and safety, and how to work with peripherals (digital cameras,
phones, flash drives, etc.). Our intermediate class takes a deeper look at Microsoft
Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
All of our computer classes are free of charge and take place at our Aldersgate
Trinity campus. Beginning classes are offered on Wednesdays from
1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Intermediate classes are offered on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m.
Each class runs for 4 weeks and you are welcome to repeat as many times as you
like.
To reserve your place, please contact Kelly at the Aldersgate Trinity campus office
by calling (409) 985-8861.
